Links stands for Loving, Interested Nazarenes, Knowing and Sharing

Our new LINKS missionaries for the 2008-2010 years are Harmon and Cindy Schmelzenbach who haved moved to Papua New Guinea.  They are currently living in the Highlands, near the town of Mt. Hagen.  

They have loved getting to know all the precious people that they now work closely with. In this last month, they have been overwhelmed with the challenges, the obstacles, and the vastness of responsibility of this assignment; but even more overwhelming has been the awareness of God's goodness, provision, strength, and promises to be exceedingly and abundantly above what they could ask or imagine! 

They would  like us to pray for their children, Danielle and Quinton who have started going to "classes" with other Missionary kids.  Cindy is continuing to homeschool Quinton, but he gets to have help in the form of a tutor.

Danielle will be graduating this year, and her plans are to go back to the States to go to a University there.  Danielle can't believe how good God is to her, allowing her to work at the Nazarene Hospital here during her last couple of months at home! She has been spending every available day in the Operating Theatre or shadowing an obliging doctor.

Please pray for the children as they continue to grow in their education.  They would like for us to pray for God's continued wisdom, guidance, and strength as they continue learning this new language and get to know the people of New Guinea!
